Is the age of the wine bottle over? N2Wine, makers of Wine Globes, are betting on it. They argue that wine doesn't really need to age, instead tasting fine right when they're bottled. So they're selling huge glass containers capable of holding 33 or 70 bottles worth of wine at once, keeping it completely sealed off and as fresh as the day it was bottled.

Does the lack of oxidation keep the wine fresher, or does it rob it of a complexity of flavor? And does drinking wine poured from a tap make it less classy? I have no idea, but you can bet wine snobs won't give up their corks and bottles easily.
